【摘要】:Thepurposeofthesetestmethodsistoprovidereliableandrepeatabletestmethodsfortheevaluationofellipticaltrainersassembledandmaintainedaccordingtothemanufacturerx2019;sspecifications.Useofthesetestmethods,inconjunctionwithSpecification,isintendedtoensureappropriateperformanceandreliabilityofanellipticaltrainerandreducetheriskofseriousinjuryfromdesigndeficiencies.1.1ThesetestmethodsspecifyproceduresandequipmentusedfortestingandevaluatingellipticaltrainersforcompliancetoSpecification.Bothdesignandoperationalparameterswillbeevaluated.Wherepossibleandapplicable,acceptedtestmethodsfromotherrecognizedbodieswillbeusedandreferenced.IncaseofaconflictbetweenthisdocumentandSpecification,Specificationtakesprecedence.1.2Requirements8212;Anellipticaltraineristobetestedforallofthefollowingparameters:1.2.1Endurance,1.2.2Staticloading,1.2.2.1Handlebars1.2.2.2Footsupports1.2.3Adjustableguidesystems,1.2.4Controlpanel,1.2.5Warnings,and1.2.6Documentation.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesisareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
