【摘要】:Theproceduredescribedinthistestmethodisdesignedtoprovideamethodbywhichthecoatingweightoftitaniumtreatmentsonmetalsubstratesmaybedetermined.Thistestmethodisapplicablefordeterminationofthetotalcoatingweightandthetitaniumcoatingweightofatitanium-containingtreatment.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheuseofX-rayfluorescence(XRF)techniquesfordeterminationofthecoatingweightoftitaniumtreatmentsonmetalsubstrates.Thesetechniquesareapplicablefordeterminationofthecoatingweightastitaniumortotalcoatingweightofatitaniumcontainingtreatment,orboth,onavarietyofmetalsubstrates.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
